Good night, Snuggles. Sweet dreams...

I haven't written anything on here in a while.   Life just gets busy doesn't it.  I just wanted to give a quick update on something that will take place today.  As it is and will be with all of us, as we grow older - there can be pain and sometimes we must face the inevitable that a life must end.   Our cat, Snuggles, will be put to sleep today.  She has gotten so old to the point that she is unable to control bodily functions and her hair is falling out - it first started on her face and then on in other places.  She has lost massive amounts of weight but can't seem to hold much food down.  We do not want her to continue suffering to the point that she is any more uncomfortable than she already is.    Our vet told us a while back that she needed to be put to sleep but he knew that it would take us time before we would be ready to let her go.  She still loves to greet us and purrs when she sees us so this decision has been very hard to make.  I do know that she will be so much happier if she can go to heaven where all of our other beloved pets go when they leave us.  I ask that if you will, please say a prayer for Snuggles  that she will have sweet dreams as she falls asleep today at around 5:00 p.m. CST.
